    It is our personal prayer, that as you search through the list of ministries available to you will find not only an outlet for the talents and abilities, which God has given to you; but, also help you to grow in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

    Bible Studies

    Alex Teaching at CRU Meeting Leader: Alexander Rico (President)

    Meeting Times: Tuesdays from 1:00p.m. until 2:00p.m.

    The Studies ministry is devoted to equipping, and instructing the saints with the Word of God, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 4:1-2, NKJV). As well, the studies ministry is devoted to bringing forth the gospel message to those who do not know of the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

    Worship Ministry

    Meeting Times: The worship ministry plays during the Tuesday meeting, which runs from 1:00p.m.-2:00p.m.

    The worship ministry is composed of contemporary Christian worship songs, as well as, older hymns and camp songs from Awana (which our worship leader also serves in.) The worship ministry serves two purposes; one, to provide an outlet for members, as well as leaders, of this body to praise, show admiration, thanksgiving, and glorification to Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins, “Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” (Psalm 100:1-5, NKJV); as well as, prepare our hearts for His teaching through the Holy scriptures of His Word.

    Outreach Team

    Alex Reaching out to fellow students during Job Fair Leader: Every student involved in CRU

    Meeting Times: Last Tuesday of every month (1:00pm-2:15pm) The outreach team is dedicated to reaching the students of VVC through outreaches, prayer booths, and group evangelism; fulfilling the great commission that our Lord gave to each of us upon His ascension into heaven, “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 15:16, NKJV)

    Prayer Team

    Group Prayer during CRU Meeting Leader: Adrian Wooten (Vice President)

    Meeting Times: Tuesdays from 12:45pm until 12:55pm

    The prayer team is committed to not only praying for the weekly meetings and events; but also, for our towns, state, country, and overall world issues. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7, NKJV) The Bible also instructs us, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications and prayers, intercessions, and giving thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior, who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 3:1-4, NKJV)

    Discipleship Program

    Meeting Times: Depends upon the set time of the both the disciple and the leader assigned to person. Though, most meetings last roughly an hour.

    The discipleship program is committed to helping members in the group discover their talents, and work through their weaknesses, as well as, form an everlasting friendship with those instructing them. “And the things you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (2 Timothy 2:2, NKJV).

    CCC Audio

    Audio Study CDs Leader: Alexander Rico (President)

    Meeting Times: All Scheduled Bible Studies

    CCC Audio is established to provide both believers and non believers with the ability of hearing the gospel message through either the computer or by CD. Recordings of Tuesday studies are available right after each meeting and are completely free!



    Follow-Up

    Meeting Times: No meeting times have been selected, awaiting appointed leader.

    The follow-up ministry is a ministry that is used during outreaches to help those who come forward during an invitation to better understand the importance of the decision they have made, answer any questions they may have, as well as, give to them information to help them grow in their new found walk with the Lord. After the event, the follow-up ministry then calls each person to see how they are doing.

    Executive Ministry

    CCC Leadership Team '05-'06 Leader: Alexander Rico (President)

    Meeting Times: All regular scheduled club meetings (Tuesdays from 1:00p.m.-2:30p.m.), as well as, Thursday leadership meetings from 12:00p.m.-2:30p.m.

    The Executive ministry consists of the executive positions required to keep the club open at the college campus. These are the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Activities Director, and Inner Club Council Representative. If you are interested in taking part in this ministry please look over/submit the following information:

    -- Look over the qualifications required for position.
    -- All the Responsibilities & Duties each position entails.
    -- e-mail for a Leadership Application.
    -- Contact the CCC President (e-mail) attaching completed application for approval.

    * Please allow several days before checking up on application process. Once application has been approved, the president/or another leader of leadership will contact you back, as soon as possible, to set up an interview date/time that works best with your schedule.
